Dr. Brandi Long (Shaw) is a native of Jackson, TN and has lived her entire life. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Memphis. Dr. Long joined Lifetime EyeCare in July 2023. Her clinical specialty is Primary Eye Care.

Dr. is a caring optometrist who has been providing eye care to residents of Jackson and the surrounding communities since 2004. She is committed to making sure that each patient has the best, most memorable experience possible, by performing non-rushed, thorough eye examinations; patiently explaining the results; and being readily available to help with any further questions or concerns. Dr. Long absolutely enjoys the profession of optometry. Her favorite part about practicing is getting to know her patients personally and developing lasting relationships with them and their families. She also cherishes the happiness and gratitude that patients have expressed about their care over the years.

Dr. Long is married to Sicarr Shaw of Bolivar, TN. They have two children Ayden and Peyton. She and her family are members of Home Missionary Baptist Church, where Dr. Long serves as an associate minister. Dr. Long also works as a chaplain for Regency Retirement Village of Jackson; so she stays busy, not only providing “physcial” sight to patients, but also “spiritual” sight. Outside of work, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with family, playing with her two dogs, relaxing on the beach, and going to theme/amusement parks.
